This Week on Test Pattern: Super Mid 90s Emo Sob Fest with DJ Nick

Dust off those old Gloria Record 7" and revisit a simpler time - a time when college age boys wrote near incomprehensible lyrics about Illinois and maps; a time when looking "spock-like" was considered the height of fashion, and when telling a girl, "You know, Tim Kinsella and I used to play youth league soccer together" was a sure fire way into her tight fitting corduroys.

That's right, it's the first annual Super Mid-90s Emo Sob Fest!!!!

Call in, make requests, do whatever. But be sure to tune in whatever you do!

This Friday from 6-7pm EST.

A Place to Bury Strangers at WZBC!!!

Apologies for the short notice, but I am very excited to announce that NYC noise-pop band A Place to Bury Strangers will be stopping by WZBC this Thursday before their show at the Middle East Upstairs with the Black Angels and will be laying down a couple tracks! The songs will be played this Friday during my show Spectra Sonic Sound (from 1pm to 3pm).

Be sure to tune in this Friday to hear these sick tracks!

Nick over and out.
