Tim you are sincerely missed. Thanks for everything you've given WZBC and the world. Petrina
& tim echoes on...
Tim was a great spirit. I remember these shows when I lived in Boston.. and crossed paths with him rarely but always impressed by his knowledge and his energy.
much respect from Oakland!
respect.
dude turned me on more than once..
Thanks Tim. The people you inspired continue to inspire me!
blessed to have known him.
I only knew of tim through school beats, what a show. what a huge loss.
When I was a high school drop out without a job I used to go hang out with Tim & Brian while they did their show on the Z, and soak up records and laugh myself silly. I seriously idolized the guy for his intense knowledge and seemingly weightless repartee. He was a huge influence on me and I'm not surprised his influence was so large over the whole DJ scene in Boston and beyond. You're one of a kind Tim, rest in peace.
I'm heartbroken. tim was a truly beautiful person.
wadada
School Beats was one of the few highlights of growing up in the Metro West. I was in High School when you all started the show and delivered many pizza's while bumpin those classic tunes. First time I heard Death Mix was on the show I almost lost my mind!
Rest in Peace...
thanks to all who came out to beat research last monday. it was a great night. i've posted all fours hours of audio tribute here:
